The details you need to know about Counter Culture.

General

What is Counter Culture?

A retreat that brings students together as the body of Christ—to know Jesus, follow Him, and live boldly for Him in a world that pulls them another way.

When and where is the retreat?

February 5 – 6, 2027, at 3131 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. It starts the afternoon of February 5. Exact times are coming soon.

Who can attend?

Church youth groups. A leader from each church reserves seats for the group's students and adult leaders.

Registration

When does registration open?

It's open now, through January 5, 2027. Reserve before December 1, 2026 to get the lower standard price.

How do we register?

A church leader creates an account and reserves seats for the whole group. From then on, you'll manage everything from your dashboard.

Is there a deadline to register?

Yes. Reservations close at the end of January 5, 2027. Late pricing starts December 1, 2026. See the pricing page for both rates.

How many students can we bring?

As many as you like. There's no minimum or maximum. Every group needs at least one adult leader for every 10 students.

Can we change our numbers after reserving?

Yes, from your dashboard. Until you've made a payment, changes apply right away at the current price. After your first payment, our team reviews seat changes before they take effect. From January 6, that's true for every group.

Payments

What is the cost?

$100 per student, or $125 from December 1, 2026. Adult leaders are $50 at every rate. Each seat is priced on the day it's reserved. See the pricing page.

How does the deposit work?

Half your total is due within 7 days of reserving. The deposit is non-refundable.

When is the rest due?

The rest of your balance is due January 22, 2027.

How do we pay?

Online: pay through our RebelGive page (opens in a new tab). Choose “CCTeens Registration - Counter Culture” and put your church's name on the memo line. Please allow up to 3 business days for your payment to post to your account.

By check: make it payable to “Christ's Church Fort Wayne” and write “Counter Culture” on the memo line. If it isn't from a church account, add your church's name too. Mail it or drop it off at 3131 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815.

What if our group gets smaller?

Before you've made a payment, and within your 7-day deposit window, removing seats lowers your total in full.

If your deposit window has passed without a payment, materials may already be ordered for your group, so removing seats goes to our team for approval. Whether half the price of removed seats is still owed is up to Counter Culture.

After a payment, through January 5, 2027, removing a seat lowers your total by half its price. The other half is your non-refundable deposit.

From January 6, materials have been ordered, so the full amount is owed whether or not everyone attends.

Church leaders

Do adult leaders need background checks?

Yes. Your group leader confirms that every adult has a valid criminal background check. It must be run through your church or organization within three years of the retreat, and be appropriate for working with minors. We may ask for proof when reasonably necessary.

How does check-in work?

Your group leader checks your church in. We'll sort out any outstanding payments or paperwork there. Then everyone gets a wristband for entry.

Safety

Does Counter Culture provide medical care?

No. Each church is responsible for its own students. We collect allergy and medical information so it's on hand for emergency services if they're needed.

Are there forms to fill out?

Yes. Everyone attending needs completed release paperwork, including a medical release, by check-in.
